Whistleblower Policy
Opus Literary Alliance encourages and expects employees, volunteers, members, and other stakeholders to report concerns about illegal, unethical, or inappropriate activities within the organization. This policy provides guidelines and protections for those who report such activities.
Reporting Procedures
Concerns can be reported confidentially and anonymously, if desired. Reports can be made directly to designated officers or via email to whistleblower@opusliterary.org.
Protection from Retaliation
Individuals who report concerns in good faith are protected from retaliation. Opus Literary Alliance strictly prohibits any form of retaliation against whistleblowers. Any retaliatory actions should be reported immediately and will be dealt with severely.
Confidentiality
Reports and related investigations will be handled with discretion and confidentiality to the fullest extent possible, consistent with conducting a thorough and effective investigation.
Investigation and Resolution
All reports will be promptly and thoroughly investigated. Appropriate corrective actions will be taken based on investigation findings.
Policy Distribution and Awareness
This policy will be clearly communicated and made readily accessible to all staff, volunteers, and stakeholders involved with Opus Literary Alliance.
